Hi Laura,
Thanks for your interesting suggestion.
In the Silva Method course it has been suggested to do the countdown deepening technique in the morning when you wake up and while still in bed.
I have done that several times and have noticed that I don’t go as deep as compared to when I am sitting with my back straight.
Have you heard that before? What could be the reason for that?
I hope to hear from you soon.
Terrence
Thank You Laura, I just love listening to you. And yes I have found that after a few weeks of things as my eyes open in the morning I hear my thoughts start out by being thankful and my mind list the things even as I have to get ready to get my son off to school and I have not begun to really see yet. Then as I sit at my father in laws my mind most days will plan out how I would like my sales to be and so on. Still need a lot of work on that yet, but my biggest plan is to sell my business properties even in this time and get out of debit and find what is in thi will for me to do. Again thank you for your messages.
Thank you, Laura. Your suggestion is actually taken from the far eastern ancient masters of meditation. The first time I discovered this method was a few decades ago from The Mind in the Martial Arts by Thomas Nardi, wherein we take advantage of the twilight consciousness.
There is also another rule of meditation according to the polarities of yin and yang which we experience throughout the day. Before breakfast and before dinner are ideal. A full stomach tends to attract the psychic force away from those areas necessary to achieve a controlled trance state. The human circadian rhythm is in direct alignment with the passing of the day…
This is the applied logic from Chinese medical theory of Chi Kung meditation used to program the psyche for greater achievement. I talk more about this at my meditation page.
