I chose “The Silva University.” I see that the Silva Learning Center is in the lead, but you know there is a national franchise called the Sylvan Learning Center — too similar, and perhaps confusing.
Secondly, The Silva University sets an intention in place: that Silva meditation will be taught in schools, and that the program will accrue to it the quality of universities. The earliest known “universities,” such as those in Taxila, in India, were led by gurus who taught, as the basis of all other learning, meditation.

Website is in reconstruction. I practice many types of healing in my Clinic(Subtle Energy Works), and I’ve attended 2 Silva method seminars. I use the methods extensively. I love the methods and want to learn more. I cannot travel to Laredo for training to become a trainer. Is it possible to get the training on line that would qualify me to train? thanks.

“The Silva Learning Center” sounds way too much like “The Sylvan Learning Center.” You should be careful with that name.
simply Learning Center describes what it IS!
As I perceived a new name, the one that came across my mind was:
SILVA LIFE INSTITUTE — (numerically, the way I perceive it is an 11, master number)
the Method Silva is ok!!!!!perhaps it can change with:
“Silva Mind Power center”
or
“Silva Mind Power Education Center”
Or
“Silva Mind Control Education Center”

sounds better then “SLC” and SLC might already exist as in Second Life College. or The Silva Insentive Mind Power Learning Establishment.

I think the Silva Learning Center is the best name for this upcoming site. The other names are innaccurate and don’t work. The Silva Club sounds too much like a social gathering. Not too much is learned in Clubs. Silva Training Center sounds good but has some negative connotations to it. Silva University is innaccurate because its not a university. To become a university would require a college to stay in business for 100 years and turn out some graduates who make great achievements. Silva Learning Center is the most accurate name to give to this site.
I choose The Training Center:
1. The words natural flow
2. That is what people are doing “Traning” themselves to tap into their own potential.
It’s all about training your mind, like an athlete!

I agree that “University” sounds a bit pretentious. “The Silva Club” sounds like the name of a music club. How about something simple? The Silva Center or perhaps The Silva Mind Center?

I voted for “The Silva Learning Center”, however after some other suggestions I believe “Silva Life Plan” is much more appropriate.
How about ” La’ Aura Center for Sylvain Studies?
I think the name should point towards continuous growth, not a start stop institution and something a little more serious than a club. People need a place to go to maintain momoentum after their initial training. I like the Silva Learning Center, with a slight adjustment. The Silva Continuous Learing Center so it guides new students to more training. A place students can go without being over-whelmed with conjested websites, but they know this is an area they can get quick direct help.
I chose ‘Silva Learning Center’ because it fits the description of your listed topics. However, after seeing the comment about how closely it is to ‘Sylvan Learning’ I must admit that it may be too close to it. Even though my vote is way out in front, the “Training” may be a better fit.
Tough call but for now I’ll stay with my original because it does fit the material!
I have noticed that most people who have posted here are in someway, related to new age stuff. Can the folks at Silva clarify whether the Silva Method is really scientific in nature or is this all part of the new agey bandwagon as well.
I have been scammed with this “group” and I don’t trust them anymore. I am looking for a program based on solid scientific proofs, not some mystical or paranormal theories.

What’s wrong with The Silva Centre? It’s short, easy to remember, and simple.
I am inclined to the Silva Club as one of the names listed if the focus is on members keeping in touch with each other and BELONGING in some way.
The University idea is already addressed by other Silva sites, and as other people have pointed out, the Silva Learning Centre is too similar to another name. Can you add a few extra names to the voting list? I don’t think four gives a very good choice.
None of the names you provided appealed to me, but Judy Taylor’s “Silva Life Institute” resounded powerfully for me. If I saw that name as a new person searching — it would tell me that it was worth further investigation.
I like “University” it sound more serious and a more advanced center for learning.
I like Silva Learning Center the best, but it may confuse those looking for “Sylvan” Learning Center. What about Silva Power Center?
Anything after the title “Silva Life” is just extra baggage, only because of the time it takes to digest the thought. It would be like towing an empty trailer behind the car all the time.
So try saying; “Silva Life Plan Centre” to yourself and feel if this vibration could also promote a gathering place for like minds.
I thing that as long as the title begings with Silva Life one can’t go wrong. Ta Ta

The “Silva Learning Center” hit me the same way it hit some others. I immediately thought of “Sylvan Learning Center”. The Silva community is more than a club, not really a university and “Training Center” sounds a little too technical and rigid. I thought of the old school “Sylva Method”, but that doesn’t seem to say enough about Sylva’s far reaching benefits and influence. I could go with “Silva Life Center”, or “Silva Life Institute”, but I like Eddie’s simple “Silva Life”. The promotional name of the site would be “SilvaLife.com”, which easily rolls off the tongue.

I don’t think any of the alternatives are particularly good, but liked the name “Silva Life”, which was suggested above.
The name should be short and to the point (i.e. not The Silva Learning Center), and not pretentious (ie. not “University”)
It has to be not only educational center, but something to attract people, to help them in their every day life, to give them Healing Power.
This was, as I understand, Jose Silva’s wish and desire.
What about:
“SILVA ULTRA MIND HEALING POWER CENTER”
I have also chosen Silva Learning Center, as I believe that you KEEP ON learning. University is for me a place with an “endness.” I do have to agree with the others concerning the Sylvan Learning Center. We, here in The Caribbean, do not remember this, as we only see that on TV. I personally think it should be the “Silva Mind Training Center” or “Silva Mind Training Institute”. I think it’s important to specify what kind of training. I think you should definitely drop the Silva Learning Center since it is too closely worded the same as Sylvan.…and also because it’s not just a matter of learning the process; one has to actually train the mind. For some, old habits are hard to break! TRAINING, TRAINING, TRAINING!
I liked The Silva Learning Center best because it reflects what happens.

I believe the training of the mind, to make it powerful with the expansion of it’s abilities through training, is not the ultimate goal of the Silva Method. This bringing forth of the hidden capabilities of the mind, through training,has it’s ultimate goal in the living of life, intentionally, purposefully, joyfully. The 4 choices you give are really overused and shallow. No offense. How about going to level and using some creativity. Or hire a PR firm. Time to get in step with the 21st century. Some of the suggestions given above are good.
After many years, I am returning to take a refresher course. Back in 1972, I took this course (Silva Mind Control) with my Dad in Del Rio, Texas. He met Jose Silva and truly respected him. Dad taught and helped many people find their innate psychic talents, thanks to Silva’s Mind Control.
Unfortunately, these days, I’ve avoided using the words “mind control” as it has negative connotations.

Mr. Jose Silva, as a self educated man, would likely support the training apsect of mind development. He knew his mission was to TRAIN us to use our human intelligence via our our mind-brain complex to produce certain levels of awareness which was reflected by various brain wave frequencies. He taught via Mental TRAINING Techniques and Forumlae…As such The TRAINING CENTER best reflects the founders concepts.
