The Gift Of Intuition 65

A few days ago we revealed Dean Radin, a leading scientist in parapsychology that was invited to present to the leading minds of Google. Dean revealed why science and academia had largely ignored para-psychological phenomena for decades and proved why such phenomena does exist.

After watching the video, we were inspired to find more resources to share with you on intuition. We found a journalist, Michael Schmicker who was actually sent to research and write about intuition and people who claim to possess this ability. As Michael undertook his research, he became a believer in intuition and found more stories and went out to prove that intuition actually existed. Michael wrote a book entitled “Best Evidence”, where he talks about people and evidence that re-instate the existence of intuition. In the book, he shares stories from real-people — which he received from all over the world on a daily basis.

Michael also co-authored a book with Dr. Sally Rhine Feather, daughter of J.B. Rhine of the Rhine Foundation. The book — “The Gift” Extraordinary experiences of Ordinary people — spoke about several unusual instances and stories such as where a Mother could intuit her son’s death in Iraq, or where a woman could foresee the 9–11 attack on Pentagon.

This ability of intuition we have known about for years now. We are so happy that mainstream science and academia is finally beginning to appreciate the significance of this type of psychological phenomena.

We have some questions we would love you to answer in the comments:

  • How much intuition do you believe you possess and how do you use it in your life?
  • Have you been able to perceive the feelings and activities of a loved one using your intuition?
  • Have you heard stories around intuition or people that have been able to perceive unusual things?

We’d love you to send us your comments below!

Bingo… ! I dont have one… But surprisingly in my office one of the Manager I work with… just out of the blue… told me yesterday… that he feels that I will get a new opportunity (job). I still working in the same job… but the surprising fact is… just the day before I had attended a phone interview for a job in Dubai… and Iam in this company for the past three years.. and he never quite mentions anything of this sort.… Strange… But I hope his intuition comes true :)

unfortunately, i cannot say for sure that i have clear, conscious intuitive insights into certain events/situations – i.e. *hunches* or sth!… but coincidences happen even more and more frequently in my life! e.g. i think of sth., and that very moment somebody else does it!… i cannot claim that i *felt* it being done (lest by whom!), just notice the coincindence, knowing that this didn’t happen by chance – i’m still not sure what’s the difference between intuition and telephaty – or what they have in common!…
and yes, i often hear stories of intuition experiences (first-hand)! :-}

I have many stories, and I use intuition, etc. all of the time. The more I use, the more I trust and have available to me.

First, when my sister was pregnant with her third child and we were on vacation. she dreamt that our new house being built would be painted green inside, instead of pink.

I know many times that something is going to happen, and I can’t stop it. Last night, at Walmart, there was several times where I felt unsafe. Now that I think of it, I have never had that feeling shopping before. When I went outside and was putting my packages in the car, the female security guard came by and told me to immediately get in the car and leave–not to put my cart away. I’m still upset about that.

I have known that I was going to lose my job on several occasions. I have gone back home when I felt danger. I have had bullets whizz past my nose while I was on a bus. I’ve known who was calling me before I picked up the phone. Twice, I knew what my husband was going to say with a subject we had never discussed. He was quite angry that I could read his mind. On and on. I use it all of the time now.

In and after meditation, many things are revealed to me. I can’t control it. I can ask and receive, but I don’t always know what is going to happen next. It’s very handy and can be lots of fun.

Ofcourse there is intuition, as Dean says over 90% of the population believes in it, only the scientists have doubts.
I use it regularly when driving to avoid roads with extra traffic.
It is only when I am emotionally attached to the result, I find intuition does not work for me, because I find myself projecting the answer that I want. Where the outcome does not matter I manage around 90% accuracy.
I once did my own experiment over a week when I stayed at a hotel which had two lifts, to find out which lift would come down first. using my intuition, I was able to predict the correct lift over 95%

Yes, I believe I (along with everyone else) possess intuition. I’m afraid mine doesn’t kick in very often, but when it does, I am 100% right on. I have been able to locate hidden objects that I wasn’t aware of on intuition alone. I just had a “feeling” that something was where it didn’t belong and sure enough, there it was!
I have known where a person was going to be before they even knew they were going to be there. I went out with my sister-in-law one night and my husband and brother were following us out to meet up with us. I pointed to a building and told my sister-in-law that my husband will be there. My husband and brother did not show up to meet me and my sister-in-law, and by the end of the night, my husband and brother were exactly where I said they would be. This was not a place that they had been to before or talked about going to.
I think we all have this ability, most people just ignore it or simply don’t know how to use it.

Melanie Joy Vertalino says 1 year ago

I believe that everyone has the gift of Inutition, it is something we have all been born with. Some people can just access and use theirs better than others. My inuition is not fine tuned enough to know when something has happened to someone I love. Yet I can recall many times I had to make a choice and my gut (intuition) told me to do one thing and I would listen to my mind rather than my gut, and it would be the wrong choice! I think just about everyone has experienced that at one time or another. For anyone who wants to have better use of their intuition, I would recommend meditation, which helps people to hear their innner voice and become more connected with their souls. Logic goes out the window when it comes to intuition. Intuition is simply a feeling and thoughts can get in the way of feelings. Therefore, when trying to make an important decision, be still and try to hear your inner voice. That is your intuition telling you the right thing to do. I have often wondered if our intuition is really just our own guardian angels trying to give us a nudge. Most of us are not grounded enough to hear it. We are all busy, going from one task to the next and never stopping to just “be.” I am guilty of this too. I am currently working on my phd in Parapsychic science, so if I learn anything new, I will be sure to share! Thanks for bringing up such an interesting topic!

Dear Laura,

Yes each and everyone of us has intuition..it gets dulled as time goes by.Practise and confidence in it makes it stronger.

I’ve felt it quite often..that peculiar sensation when you just know something good (or Bad) is going to happen.

While I personally have never been able to sense or perceive another’s feelings I am quite sure there are people who do and yes I’ve heard and seen people who are very intuitive.

How wonderfully gratifying to hear and see, an intuitive academic speak spontaneously to his student and public audience, about the validity of scientific judgements…
I would so much like to be able to understand more fully how this thinking can fit into my comprehension!
Would he ever come out this way, in the flesh..?
In my experience it’s only been female/feminist questioners of scientific principles, and maybe they are still persisting in search of acceptable answers… THANK YOU and for so much!

Dean Radin has done something very few scientists would even dare to think of. It is so good to see a person scatter the scientific TaBoo-Spook with — plain science and statistical facts.
Congratulations, Dean, for being among the first to gather and share this data.

Being an open-minded, curious AND honest scientist, and being courageous can’t be taken for granted in our times when so many (99.7% !!!) scientists pretend not to know, or do not want to know of phenomena present around us. Since it is not granted, one can only congratulate scientists like Dean, even though one feels tempted to direct a very different, not as flattering message to the other 99.7%. How does it feel to be a slave? I can’t see how it pays.

Daean, know that there are many non-scientists who understand your message and who look up to you.
Continue, please.

Miki says 1 year ago

I believe I possess a fair bit of intuition and when it speaks, I listen. For many years I meditated to give it more ‘space’ to make itself heard. Nowadays it’s more just part of the flow (or not, if I don’t still the chatter to let it through when it’s too quiet to force its way into consciousness.

Sometimes it just guides me to the right ‘coincidences’, other times it’s more dramatic. One example, years ago, is feeling moved to check a gate on the back side of our lot that is kept permanently locked, only to find that it had been opened and my toddlers were nearly in the street. Often I sense that someone’s real mood or thoughts are not those they are expressing verbally — sometimes if I ask, they’ll admit it or even be grateful that someone saw below the surface. Intuition helps discern feelings of animals, not just human loved ones. I sense my raven’s feelings at times, knowing it’s hers and not mine because (a) it doesn’t fit my own circumstance at the moment, and (b) the moment I address it with her, it alters accordingly.

As to stories I’ve heard, yes, very many, and I believe them because I’ve had my own experiences since childhood to make it real to me. It’s easier to believe in something if you’ve experienced it yourself rather that taking on trust that the person telling the story isn’t deluding themselves.

HealingMindN says 1 year ago

There’s not much difference between intuition, remote viewing, or precognition. The only thing missing from intuition is all the sensory imagery, but the we still get the feeling of what’s going to happen. I have too many stories of intuition from my family; most of it comes to us in our dreams.

Here’s a happy example: I recall a flying dream where I felt like I was going extremely fast and doing swoops up and down through the air with my clothes were flapping around in the breeze. The following day, my sister and her family asked if I wanted to go the the amusement park. I said sure. I found myself on a roller coaster with my nephew with the exact same feeling of flying I had in my dream.

Here’s a sad example: My sister and nephew claimed to see dark apparition of sorts come up the stairs to see them, then vanished. A few months later, my nephew claimed to see the ghost of a lady completely dressed in white while he was on vacation. A few months afterwards, I kept noticing for a few weeks the time on a certain clock when it was 9:11. Within those few weeks, my nephew’s life was suddenly gone.

I enjoyed the Dean Radin presentation very much. I am glad to see efforts being made to understand this gift that we all posess. I believe that as the human race evolves and rises to a higher vibrational consciousness we will experience a lot more intuitive events in our lives.

I am also finding more and more people that are interested in “tapping into” the universal knowledge. I am glad to see that science is moving forward with research and figuring out how to explain these intuitive/psychic abilities. The more we know and understand about these moments of serendipity, the more accepted it will become.

I have experienced precognition and intuitive sensory perception surrounding the emotions of others. The most profound experience involved driving past a man and his daughter (I didn’t know who at the time) in a strongly emotional conversation (although I could not hear them through the windows of the car I was traveling in) which caused me to have a stabbing pain in my chest and I could hardly breath as we passed them. The following morning I heard from a neighbour that the man had taken his own life that night. I have had many instances where the emotions of others create physical reactions in my body regardless of whether I know them or not. Large crowds can cause me a lot of emotional confusion and generally feel like a large active bee hive.

Because the human brain is encoded with DNA programming, it can not
process the spoken or written word.
So when the soul has to communicate to the human, it uses subliminal
visual images, that some times represent condition reflexes or
learned culture such as religion, sciences etc.

There is no doubt!!! Intuition is very real.. Dreams that come true, Visitations from someone who just died. Knowing who is on the other end of the ringing phone.. A vision of something happening [ either in the moment or in the future]. Something telling you not to do something or go some where, or take different route to where you are going or start later or put it off all together..Knowing when someone is in trouble..Hearing someones answer to a question in your head before they speak it [ verbatim].
These things have all happened to me, many times..
YES !!! WE ARE ALL CONNECTED !!!

Yes, I found the video quite inspiring. I have known the reality of intuition for many years, and listen to mine regularly. I have found that sensing is the first of our intuitive skills to develop, and then the others follow. In my experience I sensed things first, and then began to see, hear and know information. My work requires that I be very intuitive, so that I can be more effective and efficient in my job, my home and other relationships. For me, it was refreshing to know that the scientific community is finally recognizing the importance and reality of intuition as a natural sense rather than some type of metaphysical hype.

Ranjan Ku Pattanaik says 1 year ago

Intution is part of my life.
One of my great experience I am giving. It is by 1990–92, when I got married. That time there is limited phone facility at our(Couple) place and we have to convey our feeling only by letter. As both of us live at distance of nearly 300 Km. due to service by both.
Once she told me ‘if any point of time I want you to share my feelings or I want to call you to my place then some day you maynot see me’.
There on my intution, what I receive, I took her to her worship room, told her to sit infront of our master’s photo and told her to think what you want. I will do receive your feelings and likewise She used to call me.
And at the time of my son, before six months I have preicted and also I have purchased dress for my son before two days.
Altimately I want to say There is Intution, no body can deny.
“I can give you one example:
Everybody say’s sugar is sweet. but if anybody ask what is sweet an how it is? Then nobody can explainin this world– only by taste it anybody can realise.“
So It is there, Everybody has to except and if he wants to know then he has to do something, that you are elaborating.
Thanks,
Regards

I’d say I have about average intuition. Most of the time it doesn’t seem like that much. The most unusual thing that’s ever happened to me was when my brother’s chopper was shot down in Viet Nam. I woke out of a sound sleep and I knew that something had happened to him. I kept saying that he was hurt but he was all right and pacing. I was very upset but didn’t know why. He said that his buddy came in right behind him to pick him up and he had to fly the second choppe out. He was very upset at the time and knew that he had to do something to the emothions or everyone would die. He says that he pushed it away to a safe place. It was given to me and I calmed down slowly over several weeks as he could handle the emotions.

I use my intuition as a counselor and psychic reader. i also use it to guide me through life. If something feels right then I know it is for me regardless of what others say. Often when I am counseling or doing a psychic reading I receive information that comes but I do not always know how I know thngs, I surprise myself and my clients. I no longer question my intuition and if I feel something then I go with it. Everybody is able to do this and the more we work with it the clearer it becomes. Sam

I have not yet had a chance to see the video but I don’t really need to. I have no
doubt that intuition is very strong in guiding me in all activities in my life. I have
been meditating for over 20 years and have a very strong spiritual practice and
intuition is a common for me as breathing. I have very often prophetic dreams.
8 months before George Bush attacked Iraq I had dreams of bombers flying over
Iraq. In 1992 I made a collage of lightening striking tall buildings and people flying out in New York City where I live. At the time I thought is was symbolic of
the collapse of old structures. It just came to me spontainiously. I have learned
to depend on and trust my intuition.

I have three German Sheppards and a Beagle. Three years ago one of the sheppards attacked the Beagle and caused life threatening damage. We rushed the dog to a local animal hospital where after a thourough exam they recomended that we put the dog down. They explained that they did not feel that he could overcome the damage that was done to his body and they informed us that the cost to keep him alive for the time he had would be great. My wife and I decided to give the dog the chance of at least one days attention at the animal hospital. The next morning my wife called to see if there was any improvement and she was told that the dogs condition was deteriorating and again they recomended putting the dog down.

My wife called me very upset and relayed the information. I called the animal hospital and told them that I would come down after work and based on the dogs condition at that time I would make a decision.

Around noon that day I had a strong feeling that the dogs condition was worsening and I meditated on sending the dog healing energy. When I got to the animal hospital after work they informed me that the dog was stable. No worse than this morning but no better. I decided to give the dog another day to see if he improved. The same scenario played out for the next six or seven days where the dog would start to slip and I would get this feeling that he was trying to let me know. I would meditate and after a short time call the animal hospital and his condition would be better than it had been earlier.

After the first seven or eight days of this my wife called and again was told that the dogs condition had deteriorated and again she called me upset and relayed the news. This time along with my meditation and willing my energy to the dog I added while in meditation for the dog to give me a sign if he wanted to fight or if he was ready to give up.

That afternoon my wife and I went to the animal hospital and asked the doctor if there was any change at all. The doctor informed us that the dog had not left his bed since we brought him in the first day and there was no marked improvement. We decided that it was time to let the dog go. Just before the doctor came in the room to hear our decision one of the aids came in and said today was the first time Huey has gotten out of his bed since he came in. He went to the middle of the floor and went to the bathroom and then went back to his bed and hasn’t gotten up since. I asked the girl what time this occured and she told me it was noon time because she had just started her shift.

After that I still meditated and sent the dog healing energy but the feelings I was receiving were different.

I have had many instances of intuition besides this one. Many concerning death and birth.

I think the majority of people have intuition, just do not know about it or do not pay attention to it. i, for sure , have very strong one. Just sometimes you feel something and do not know what exactly it means, at this moment, later on everything comes into places.
Long time ago, when i was still a teenager, i was drinking tea at home and the cup literary jumped out of my hands! I am not clumzy, so it was just strange. And it was interesting feeling, like something is happening. And my heart starting going very fast. I still remember that moment! Later on we found out that my mothers friend, who lived in another country, exactly on that day and that time gave a birth to her son!
Sometimes i can feel when my close friends or family members get sick, i feel certain discomfort, and just do not know what is happening, but then find out that somebody got sick, i normally feel a bit of the discomfort in the affected part of the body.
I have many stories like that. sometimes you just know that something is gonna happen — good or bad. And i really think that everybody has that-just have to pay more attention to what the body and the “inner you” says.

Hello Laura,

Yes in some instances in mi life I have had these typo of intuitions. I’m going to tell you just a few. Back in 1990 I had a dream that my ex-husband’s nephew died and 6 months later my son was the one that died in a car crash. Also one time I was driving and a van passed by me and had a telephone number advertising his business and the last 4 digits were 2122 and it just stuck on my mind I played in in a play four and won $599.00. Also some times I wanted an event to happened, had the thought it was not a very powerful thought but a week later it happened just the way I wanted it. these are some of the instances.

Thanks for sharing this article ,

Every day and in every way I’m getting better and better,

happy thoughts to you and your family,

Olga

Hi, everybody!
I am musician, and I’ve experienced countless interesting coinsedences in my musician career. I heard so many songs from popular musicians that I felt that it was me who wrote them. At first time I was confused, I thought that somebody just stole my song or part of it. Later when I discovered movie “The Secret” and Silva Method, I was so excited about this, because I felt that we (the people) are truly connected. We are more than what we see when we look in the mirror.

Intuition comes and goes. Just the other day in meditation I had the strongest sense that from my deepest self everything was perfect, a very comforting feeling of goodness. I really appreciated the feeling.

I have felt the feelings of my wife many times over the years. One of the best examples was at the birth of my daughter. When she was being born, at the exact moment I was in the waiting room I got very nauseated and felt like I was felt extremely out of it, only to find later that was the exact moment of birth. I was feeling what my wife was going through at the same time. This has happened many times over the 40 years of our marriage.

Over the years the stories of peple around me having intuitive flashes, both with me and of others is staggering, so the evidence for inituition, in my opinion at least is staggering and overwhelming.

I have intuition ( and maybe I still have some, but I stopped listening it. By fear. ). I had also premonitions. They began when I was 11 years old. They told me , in time, some of the important facts that happen , then, in my life. Some of them were good. Most of them were bad things. If I could not prevent them happening, what’s the use ?

I have had several occurances where I received knowledge that I did not previously posses. One instance was about my youngest son. He had a very bad habbit of purposely banging his head on things. It was so bad that he kept a “headband” of bruises. When I talked to his pediatrician about it, he just blew me off saying, “Oh, he’ll probably be a pediatrician; I banged my head when I was little too.” Well, that didn’t sit well with me and I was still very concerned. I needed to get him to stop banging his head before he gave himself a concussion. I use to just restrain him, but then I switched to spatting him on the leg each time I caught him banging his head. One day when he was about two years old and I caught him banging his head, some knowledge just came to me: “He’s banging his head because his tummy hurts him. He bangs his head because the pain makes him angry. Pick him up and comfort him and rub his tummy.” (It just came to my very quickly as a “knowing” and I knew it like I knew that sun would rise in the morning.) Well, I did just that and he immediatily calmed down and stopped crying and trying to bang his head. That was the last time he banged his head because of his tummy hurting. One time shortly after that, he got angry for some other reason and threw a little tantrum and banged his head on his grandpa’s concrete floor. He looked up at me with such puzzlement as to why it hurt so much and burst out in tears. I rushed to comfort him again and he never banged his head again after that for any reason. Gone was the hurt in my heart from not being able to protect my son. I felt such relief after I received the knowledge to be able to help him.

Not sure I have much intuition but must have some, yesterday I went in to mediating for about 10 minutes a couple of young ladies came in about a mattress set, but before they came in I kept seeing a set of wolf eye’s as I mediated, after the purchase and I made the delivery I hauled the old away noticed on the box which I DID NOT deliver the bed frame was wrong so I called the Apartment owner told him and I had the right on and would switch it. Drove back over and the Wolf eye’s I saw while mediating were right in front of me in the windows of the truck parked in front of me. So now I have to keep quitting my mind and work on this.

I have a bit of intuition. I don’t listen all the time though…just don’t trust it enough, I guess. My intuition kicks in mostly with unimportant things, like driving directions, parking and other trite stuff; sometimes it works great. I get upset with myself for not listening to ‘Me’ better when I get stuck in traffic, and if I had paid attention to my gut I wouldn’t have gotten stuck at all. Even without caller ID or a special ringtone, I can sometimes intuit who’s calling me on the phone…hard line or cell. But these situations are about the extent of my abilities. When it’s something really important, intuition just doesn’t seem to be part of the equation.

When my son was still little, I would be pretty good at reading him. Now that he’s grown not so much. Though he can be intuitive sometimes too.

Regarding question three, probably, but I can’t think of anything specific right now.

I am not sure the difference between intuition, precognition, remote viewing, visions, seeing persons past lives, etc. Do I have the abilities most definitely lots of it. If intuition is hunches, I follow them 100% of the time without question, no matter where or concerning what. For instance I KNOW when one of my sons is in trouble be it mental, physical, spiritual, or emotional and when that knowing comes I send protection and consolation to him mentally. I know it works as he has verified the times and results.

Intuition is a very usefull tool in my job as a systems engineer. Regularly I will be presented with a problem on a remote computer control system and with very patchy information use intuition to point me in the direction to look for the problem. It could be said that this is down to experience but I would dispute this as some of the thoughts that come through intuition I have never encountered before.
I also keep in touch with a friend in Canada by email and always know beforehand when there will be an email in my inbox.

1) My earliest remembrances of paranormal experiences was at the age of 4, when a tall man used to float to the foot of my bed each night — to check on my well-being — and to teach me about using my thoughts for good. I’ve talked with him, and many others, over the years but I don’t usually tell people. (That’s what they call schizophrenics among the unenlightened and non-believers.)
Thanks to my Silva training, almost 40 years ago, I use my intuition as a daily part of my life. It is as normal as breathing.

2) ABSOLUTELY!

3) Almost every female in my family has what is called “The Gift”.

hi silva, i love getting your e-mails.i use my intuition all the time.i usually get a sign and i know when to listen and pay attention to it. my beautiful daughter Elaine passed away 10 yrs ago and although doctors were telling me that there was nothing wrong with her,i knew not to listen to them.Iinsisted on more detailed tests and sadly they found pulmonary hypertension.she only lived for 5wks after diagnosis.Iknow that elaine helps me pay attention to my intuition and sometimes sends me signs.Intuition is a great thing.i just know when i know!

My belief is that the intuitive, sensitive state is our naturally state but the western system and learnt patterns in families pretty quickly puts a lid on that natural state!

Thankfully it is inborn and natural and therefore can be remembered and reclaimed by methods such as using Silva system, spending time in Nature and simply BELIEVING that who we are is a divine reflection of all that is and was.
After all “RECLAIM” is simply an anagram of “MIRACLE” so when we reclaim our authentic, awethentic Self, MIRACLES appear!

I was blessed to be lead to Silvas work whilst still quite young and the workshop of the Mind remains one of my most precious, intuitive places on ‘earth’..
Thankyou Jose!
I wrote a piece about why people become so far removed from their intuitive, free flowing, creative Self at such a young age. You can read about it in my blog here:

Thankyou Laura…I have wondered if Jose visits you all in the Dream place?

I dont have any special intuition… but I know a girl who has a very fine sensitivity and intuition. She can smell the lies and hear conversations on another room with closed door. Sometimes she can see people’s auras. Recently someone explained to her that she was an adult Crystal. She doesn’t know what that means, and I researched on internet and found the crystal characteristics apply to hear. She has a very special connection with his mom too. When my friend is sick.. her mother calls her asking if she’s fine even without knowing she is not feelling well. Sometimes, my friend knows that someone’s speaking silly things about her.

Dear friends of the Silva Systems,

About , I could say, that in the past I had certain feelings, when in an , that there will something happen with me or others who is near and close in subjective communication.

In the beginning I had no trust at all in such phenomena, but when it came back on a regular base to me, I could verify that what will happen by ‘seeing’ some ones Aura.

When I was doing study at the ‘Para-Psychological Faculty in the Netherlands where I met DR.Wanrooy and the late Prof.DR.Ten Have, my mentor, I know that were abound, but in fact always neglected and ignored by others who has in fact the same feelings, but scared to be involved with. This is a really wrong attitude, because we’re in fact created perfectly by the our !

It’s a matter of making such feeling into the brain neurons, making a certain management of thoughts possible through a function of the (I call it Charly) which receive, retrieve, store, manage train of thoughts through ‘emotional’ behaviour of the person in question and make it factual into deeds.

This was my experiences since then and will function accordingly, when we’ll pay a huge attention on it and accepting, that <subjective communication is and that it could influence our ; so rigid like in a 3 D vision and even we could really focus on it, while objective surroundings couldn’t have any grip onto it.

This has to be maintained by everybody when at an , called the 10 Hertz position of that Jose always mentioned in his books. But without torrough exercises, practice and main tenance for a you couldn’t make it up.

As an old man of near 84, I recommend using this Silva System, in order to enhance our ability, capacity and quality to have a into our main strenght i.e. E M O T I O N ! Be aware to control it or being controlled by its strenght, as always has happened troughout our llives.

I firmly believe in intuition. My father and I have been very close and I had a habit of calling him we lived in different cities. One morning I felt that the phone had been ringing in the night. I asked my husband whether he heard it, he hadnt but I had this feeling it was my dad trying to get in touch with me. In the morning I called up my parents but was told they had gone shopping, I called again I got the same answer, I called again in the afternoon I again got the same answer and I thought it was very strange that my father and mother had gone shopping the whole morning. Then I called my sister-in-law and after probing found out that my dad had been admitted in the hospital the previous night but since he knew I would get worried had told everyone not to tell me about it.

Another time just around a week prior to xmas in 2000 my dad and mom had come to live with me and I had a very bad dream that my dad died I got up a little worried but as dad was with me put it out of my mind. On the eve of xmas my mother came up to my bedroom to wake me up as she was a paraletic and could not speak clearly after the stroke and was a very anxious person i thought she was waking me up to go to church and I told her mom its too early go to sleep. She went down I got up with a start as I recalled the dream I had a few days ago and went running down the steps my dad had gone into a diabetic coma with his tongue lolling out and his eyes popping out. We immediately rushed him to the hospital the hospital would not admit him thinking he was dead but after screaming and shouting he was admitted and we managed to save him.

In Dec 2005 I was supposed to move to the same city as my dad. I had mentioned to my dad that I wanted to have the house renovated prior to our moving in but he kept on insisting that we should move into the house and only then have the house renovated. We moved from Delhi to Goa on Dec 8, 2005 on Dec 13 2005 I got up with a start at around 2.00am in the morning with a feeling that I was choking and suffocating and woke up sweating profusely. Being December it was fairly cold I was sitting at the window trying to regain my breath when the phone rang my sister-in-law was on the phone she seemed a little surprised that I answered the phone on the first ring she called to say to come quickly as my dad was passing away. By the time I reached my dad’s place he had already passed away.

This xmas of Dec 2008, I was feeling very down that something was not right, the feeling of being lost and completely alone. I did not feel like celebrating xmas but did not know why. My daughter said that because my son was not coming home I was feeling depressed but it was not so I could not put my finger on why I was feeling down. My husband’s daughter was supposed to come home so because of her I pushed myself to put up the tree and make the cake batter. Normally I would keep the batter overnight and the next day start baking but this time I just didnt have the strength to put the batter into the pans. My daughter commented that we had not bought any clothes for xmas it just came out of my mouth that I would buy a black blouse for xmas and she said but why mama I said I dont know. On the Dec 21 my mom was feeling a little uncomfortable so the next day I called the doc and had her brought to the hospital by the time she was taken from the wheelchair to the examination table she had a cardiac arrest. She was my everything even though she could not talk full sentences we could communicate to each other. And now I know why I was feeling lost.

I say things without knowing why and it just comes true. Even when my son was doing is 10th board examination I would pray for him to get 80% and 65% would keep on coming to me and I could not figure out why. When my son’s results were declared it was 65%. Even for my neice when she came back from her interview I told her she got the job and two days later she called me to tell me that her placement teacher called her to tell her that she had got the job.

When my niece appeared for her final graduation exam she kept on asking me to pray for her to get a distinction and I would pray, Then she asked me what she would get I told her she would get a First class. When her results were declared she had got a first class she missed a distinction by 0.5%.

I have bought the Silva UIltra Mind system with the intention of further developing my intuition.

times of danger, or preceived danger , hightens intuituion. i recall as a young child, that i felt as if someone pulled me back , from stepping into a bus.the area was in manhattan on 3rd ave., whne they had the el above, and the bus line on the street level. the pillars hid the traffic coming towards you. a scarry experience. or that errie feeling not to walk down a street, or take the next subway. and then that walk trough central park transverse road, bus strike, and the feeling that someone or something was in the park—a danger. picked up a large stick and walked through the park to the west side, and goton the sub way. read in the paper that some one took the same route and was killed by a large kife.….was i minutes before the killer came, or did that individual know that i was aware, an errir feeling, and carried a large club????

Hi Laura
Q:How much intuition do you believe you possess and how do you use it in your life?
A:I believe that I have a fair amount of intuition. Unfortunately I have suppressed it more often than not to my detriment!
Q:Have you been able to perceive the feelings and activities of a loved one using your intuition?
A: I am more likely to sense feeling, than to perceive activities. I have experienced foreboding about an accident which came to pass. There was nothing that could have been done on my part to avoid it. It makes me wonder what was the point of this perceiving.
Q:
Have you heard stories around intuition or people that have been able to perceive unusual things?
I have actually been part of such an experience where a friend predicted danger in my home and car and was able to by taking action prevent accident and injury.

Another experience that I recall is waking up and looking at my husband and saying mentally, “Turn on the light over there.” I remember wondering why these words had popped into my mind. I then spent some meditating on turning on a bright light on him. After a time I went back to sleep. The next morning the first thing he said to me was “I dreamt that you were making a machine of light and it had something to do with Einstein’s law of relativity.”

Since we are all integral to the UNIVERSAL MIND (God ) we all have the potential to access much more knowledge/power than is now commonly done by our separated idea of self—who we think we are.

Wherever and whenever our separated mind is receptive to the continual transmissions of our Higher mind a recognition of what we already knew/know occurs. This is commonly called INTUITION.

I have extreme intuition and abilities. Often i’ll say an off hand comment, that doesn’t really fit the situation or the moment quite right,an then sure enough its a prophecy,i usually find out on the news or however.Like the floods in Queensland and many similar events..If i dream about people i don’t know they’re usually happening somewhere. And day to day if i get any bad feelings i listen to them,to the point i will ring people an tell them what to avoid for some reason.I learnt to listen to them after being talked round a few times when i didn’t want to be somewhere or do somethink, and then majorly weird to shocking outcomes happen and then people are sorry an wish they’d listened to me. And now more than not people do.I also no my 1st thought is the right one 19 out of 20 times,an usually the one time i’m wrong is when i’ve overlooked the real 1st thought. My intuition gets stronger everyday,i used to avoid it,especially as a kid because it scared me.Now i’ve learnt to live with it,I used to think it was a curse as well as a gift, but now i see it as a gift,it can be hard to know alot u don’t want to, but it has saved me my life many times now and i am grateful.Intuition comes from learning the truth about yourself, emotions, thoughts and understanding of it all combined.People who have learnt to have high levels of empathy will be more finly tuned with their intuition.Everyone has it,just some peoples are buried in their journey and can’t quite see it properly, make mistakes because of that, and then don’t trust it or know it’s there anymore.Have to be truth, learn it,speak it,love it,believe in it,and then you can see it…It’s that simple.

As for all my experiences of different types of intuition,i could write an encyclopedia,so it’d be too long…

I don’t see how people can’t recognize it myself.I might be just to used to it in my little lunchbox though..

I’ll just ignore the questions and tell you the story. When I first met my wife’s mother(before we were married) she almost passed out. Later I was shown the drawings and told. My wife had told her mother when she was 5 to 7 years old that she would one day marry a man with “things in his ears” and being very artistic drew a picture of the things. So detailed was the drawing that even though she was too young to read she drew the letters as they existed on my hearing aid “Beltone” in cursive letters.

Much later, when we were having some financial difficulties, she had a dream which had 2 sets of 3 digit numbers followed by a pair of letters. 385mm and 680we. I was just guessing, …Lottery??? 385 Monday midday and 680 Wednesday evening??? I played $3 on each of those for 3 weeks and and each ticket paid $500 when the first one hit for $1500 payout. I then played $14 on the other one for 5 more weeks for one day per week and Got $7,000. This hasn’t happened since but think of the odds. 1 to 1000 for any given drawing but which drawing in the week was told also for 13 drawings per week increases the odds to 1 in 13,000.

I am in my forties and have two beautiful children. My daughter is 19, petite and gorgeous. My son is 17, tall and very handsome. They are part of this story. When I was young, before my children some 20 years ago, I was open to the world and searching. I started learning about, in those days it was the new thing, the New Age Religion. I remember Shirley MacClaine’s books and all of the movies and teachings going on at the time. I had always had a bit of intuition. I was strong but I didn’t really understand it so I didn’t cultivate it. My mother was always telling me that it was the devil’s work and I was getting into a cult. My intuition saved me from bad things on more than one occassion.
One story I will tell you of myself and the other includes my daughter. Again, it was in the eighties and I lived in Greensboro, NC at the time. There had been a man who traveled the then new part of interstate 85 preying on women driving alone at night. He had a red light, just like a policeman, and when he would see a woman alone in a car he would get behind her, follow her for awhile and then turn on that light like he was a cop pulling her over for something. He would then walk up to her car, pull her out and rape her. One night while this was going on,I took months to catch him, I was traveling on this new road coming home to Greensboro from Charlotte where I had been visiting a friend. There weren’t many travelers on the road at the time, it was a new road and people didn’t use it then like they do now. It was late and I noticed that there wasn’t alot of traffic. I also noticed there was a car that had been behind me on the highway for many miles. I made sure I wasn’t speeding and was obeying all trafic laws and yet I still say a red light behind me. I pulled over to the side of the road, started to roll down my window and the hairs on the back of my neck started to stand on end. I suddenly became nervous and remembered the “Red light Rapist” was still on the loose. I could see him walking up to my car and I made the decision to take off. I figured that he was a real cop he would come after me, stop me again and understand my reasoning for leaving. I he was the rapist, he wouldn’t chase me and I was saving myself. He didn’t chase me and a week later a work a co worker told me her sister had been raped by the “Red light Rapist” only a couple of days after I eluded him.
The second story has just happened. I am in Afghanistan working as a civilian contractor to support my family. As I said earlier, my daughter is 19 and beautiful Yesterday at around noon in Afghanistan, which is around two or two-thirty central time, I was feeling very overheated. I got tunnel vision, black spots before my eyes, I felt as if someone had hit me upside the head, and my legs grew very week. I thought I was going to passout. I had to fight to stay awake and aware. This lasted for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Then I was nuaseaus and felt very, very sick. I couldn’t eat the lunch I had been waiting on and I had to leave work early. After being sick in the bathroom twice I laid down and slept for about 3 hours. I felt fine when I awoke. This morning when I got up, I saw that I had missed a call from my daughter. I called her back. The story she told me made my skin crawl. She said that around two-fifteen am central time, she had been vicious attacked outside her work. The man came up behing her, slammed her head into her car, raped her, cut her on the thigh and took off with the contents of her purse. My poor, beautiful 5 ft tall daughter was being viciously attacked on one side of the world while I had fallen violently ill on the other side of the world. If that isn’t intuition and the universe telling something was wrong with my family then I don’t know what is.

YES, ESP/intuition really do exist.
1). I was crossing the mouth of a small lane when a “voice” said “STOP”. I stopped, looked around and 10 seconds later a large piece of sheet plate steel 1 inch thick, 2 meters by 3 1/2 meters long, fell from the top of a 5 story building under construction and landed 1 yard away from me. I looked up and saw 3 workers looking to see what happened. I was shaking.
2). Another time I wanted to know where my 10 year old son was. I could see him riding his skateboard down a long hill. I knew he wasn’t in Bangkok because there are no hills here. Later he told me that he and his friends had taken an old bus to Pattaya (@ 2+ hours away by car). They came home in a heavy downpour of rain.
3). When I was studying for my M.Sc. at Mahidol University, I felt suddenly very weepy. A small voice said ” Don’t worry. Everythings alright”. I was crying but didn’t know why. My father called that evening and told me that my favorite great, great aunt had just died.As long as I can remember, she and I had always had a great time together.
4). Another time was when I was teaching around 7:30 pm when a sudden wind and rain storm blew up out of no where complete with thunder, lightening and lots of rain. This was most unusual because it was in the middle of the dry season and we don’t get rains out of clear cloudless skys. I knew that something had happened but not what. When I got home late that night, the house was all lit up, the windows and doors were open and the dogs had not been fed and were howling, like for the dead. One of my sons came and took me to the hopsital near where my husband worked. I thought something had happened to my oldest son (because he had been a little sick). Instead I found out that it was my husband who had did at 7:30 pm. I was in a state of shock. I remembered that morning I told him: “We need you, please stop smoking, I’ll see you this evening,I love you.” This is still with me even today. I still feel him near me quite often.
Intituion is always with me. When I listen and respond, I’m OK but when I don’t pay attention to it, I pay the price.
I can go on and on telling more about intuition. It does work when you take the time to listen.

I’ll tell you a story to illustrate. It was a lesson in how
to identify the correct guidance from intuition or whatever
you prefer to call it. Always listen to the voice that speaks to you in calm statements. Ignore the voice that argues, which is ego.

I’d made an appointment with the vet to have my male cat
neutered. The appointment was for 8 a.m. on a Saturday. My husband Jim, and the kids were still asleep.

I attached a leash to the cat’s collar, slipped the loop over my right arm, put the cat in a basket with a lid but no
way to secure the lid.

My intuition said, “take Jim with you, you’re going to need help”. My ego voice argued that I was a grown woman and perfectly capable of taking the cat to the vet by myself.

Again my intuitive voice said, “take Jim with you you’re going to need help”. I ignored it and drove off to the vet
alone with the cat.

The parking lot at the vet’s was empty. I got out of the car with the basket handle over my right arm. A dog the size of Cleveland came from behind the building, trotted up to me and sniffed the basket. The cat went berserk, flew
out of the basket, couldn’t escape because it was attached
to me by the leash so it bit the end of my forefinger and hung there by its teeth.

I decided the dog and it’s teeth were the biggest threat and
kept my shoulder bag between me and its mouth. We trotted
into the vet like that.

The vet stood there frozen and speechless. I asked him if this was his dog. He said yes. I said put it away. When he came back I said, “take the cat off the end of my finger”.
He did.

Then it just gets stupid. I asked for a band-aid to stop the bleeding from my finger which was dripping all over the
floor. He said he couldn’t do that because that would be “dispensing”. I said okay then please give me a paper towel or a tissue. He said he couldn’t do that either, and sat down at his reception desk behind the window.

By then I was really mad and stuck my arm through the window all the while dripping blood all over his appointment book. He ignored me and wrote through the blood like it wasn’t even there.

So anyway. Listen to the calm intuitive voice in your mind. Ignore the voice that argues.

Love all of you,
Rena

How much intuition do you believe you possess and how do you use it in your life?

I know I possess intuition and I use it in my daily life to get from one day to the next.

Have you been able to perceive the feelings and activities of a loved one using your intuition?

Yes, eg. If I get a toothache where I don’t have a tooth, I know something is not right with my baby sister and I should contact her ASAP. If I get a headache that won’t go away, I know a brother and a sister are both tremendously suffering from their allergies. If I smell an El Producto cigar and no one is in the area smoking, I know this is my Dad communicating with me/us from the otherside warning me/us of some type of danger.

Have you heard stories around intuition or people that have been able to perceive unusual things?

Of course :) , I know that every human has the ability. Most must don’t know how to use it. Not only have I heard a story it is also on page 2 of the newspaper in Iowa regarding my niece being a psychic. If ever I can’t find something I call her. eg. Lost keys to neighbors car at Medical Clinic. Had saw 2 doctors and had tests done in the lab. Went back to each couldn’t find the key. Took a cab home to get neighbors extra key thinking I locked it up in the car. No such luck. Called my niece she told me where to look (in the pharmacy) keys’ weren’t there, Went to security someone turned the keys in they found in pharmacy. My niece described the lady I was talking to when I dropped the keys so I know she knows her stuff. I am so proud of her.

I have so many intuition moments that they are to many to mention. One interesting thing which I will mention is that I am very connected to my Mom and sister. We will just think about one or the other and the phone rings. On and on like this it goes. AWESOME!!!

It was about 35 years ago. I was driving along a California freeway and suddenly felt a dark cloud come over me. A startling vision. I was about to be involved in a terrible accident. I knew it. It was imminent. I grabbed onto the steering wheel with white knuckles. 30 seconds later, the front tire blew out and the car went spinning around in circles and out of control on the fast lane of the freeway with cars zipping by me at 80–90 MPH (Californians never honor speed limits). Came to a stop nose to nose with the car previously behind me, about 6 inches from my bumper by the time he screeched to a halt. We both faced each other with a look of terror. We both lived. No injuries, no damages (except for the tire). Had I not grabbed the steering wheel so hard it could’ve been a different story. I’ve never every doubted intuition or the ability to see through time since ten.
