Thanks for the interesting report. So finally your own emotional health becomes your responsibility? In how many ways can you become responsible for your emotional well being and what are the consequences, I wonder, for a marraige? I'm sure this is the way forward.

I have been in the wholistic health field as a consultant after surviving stage 3+ breastcancer and the horrific treatments by now 19 years,
I really had to chuckle when I read the Simonton report.
I could have written that report. I have seen stage 1 cancerpatients die because it seemed the only way to get Hubbies attention back. I have seen stage 4 lung cancer patients (having been told get your affairs in order within six weeks) live as long as 1-2 years longer because they had some more living to do. Of course most of my clients came after they where "given up".
Mind is a powerfull tool, I always start there and than comes of course your Life Style etc.
Thank you for that report as a great conformation what I have been teaching for years....

Thank you Laura for posting this, I really appreciate it.
I admire the Simonton's work and the honesty re the degree of receptivity. I remember in 1965 completing my neurophysiology and physiology/biochem studies I wanted to do a PhD in the neurophysiological relationship with health, it was manifestly physically obvious, but no supervisor or funding would look at it. I am glad people are now dealing.

To Laszio: as well as the Silva mediation work you may be doing, I suggest you consider the Letting Go approach of the Sedona Method.Google the website, download the free introduction and try the simple basic release. It works. It works for non spiritually aware people also. You also can release genetic issues.
Environment including stress/presumably emotion affects genetic material, activating and inactivating genes. This is inherited. You can do something about it. This has fairly recently been accepted in the science world. A moment of compassion for them they are terrorised by fashion and dominent cliques.
I am/was a scientist and I assure you not all run on the narrow nerdish pattern & reality is not all perceived as Newtonian by scientists.

Very interesting but scary too.It seems WE are entirely responsible of our lives, what we go through how we handle situations and what we do with all the feedback.It isn't however that easy to make the switch and think positive all the time or actually analyse your emotions and reactions.I trust that the Silva method will help us there.Thank you Laura.Keep up the good work

It is allright to read all these,but Who are telling the truth? In this materialist,world I hope all I am hearing from Silva Corp is resourcefull for me now.Even though I have taken the Silva Mind Control in Spanish and in English about 10times and have not get nothing;there is something in this method that works.I am practicing the "Metodo Silva de Vida"now and I hope it works.I hope all these is not another money making method because I am tired of getting nowere thinking btwen "science"or pseudo science.I am in need,realy in need.I Need to transform all my life 180 degree.
I live in Puerto Rico.A territory,a possesion,.I want to relocete to USA and have health.If I am not healthy,who can I help heel other people? Example: In USA the government pay $330.00 per person in medicaid,contrasted wi9th miserable $20.00 per person in Puerto Rico.There are thousands of other examples,and I dont know if anybody cares about that.I dont care if somebody cares or not,,just stating a fact.
