My name is Don Mortimer and after 50 years of frustration and feelings of lack and inadequacy I began a journey some six years ago that has now taken me to a life of satisfaction, abundance, confidence and success.

I use these changes in my life as reference points for me to call on when I am confronted with problems and or issues that I am trying to find solutions for. The following story is such a reference point and it is written so that you too can use it as a reference point in your life.

In mid November 2008 during the wedding ceremony of my niece and future nephew an extraordinary event played out in front of 120 guests at the Everglades Historic House and Gardens, Leura.

You are invited to the wedding of my niece so immerse yourself into the story and see yourself as a guest and being part of this extraordinary event, feel as I and all the guest attending felt and you will wonder at the power of the of the universe to deliver whatever you wish for or better, once you know how to ask and the power that lies within us all to manifest all we desire.

The Blue Mountains Miracle

The weekend weather forecast for the whole southeast coast of Australia was bleak as we boarded the plane for the one hour flight to Sydney from Melbourne. Being in the southern hemisphere November in Australia is the last month of Spring and produces unpredictable weather; from one day to the other it can be anything from a heat wave to cold and blustering, you never know what you will get. Being a Friday night the plane was full to capacity as people commuted to and from Australia’s two major cities. There were six of us on the plane and my two brothers and our wife’s were going to the wedding of my sister’s daughter. The wedding was to be held the following day at 3 pm. in the Everglades gardens in Leura, a small town high in the Blue Mountains approximately 100 kilometers (60 miles) west of Sydney.

Upon arrival in Sydney and as there was six of us we rented a ‘people mover’ and set off to our next destination, a two hour drive to the Wallacia Hotel about 8K’s from my sisters place in Silverdale. The small township of Silverdale was nestled in the foothills of the Blue Mountains and the reception was to be held in a marquee at the back of my sister’s one acre property. Her and her husband had spent months preparing for the wedding and everything was in place for it to be a very special day for their daughter, Cassandra and her new husband to be, Drew Walker.

One of eight brothers and sisters I am forth in line and we were all coming from far and wide to be part of the day, the rest of the family (four sisters) were staying up at the house in a caravan and popup camper trailer and helping setup for the reception.

During my journey to a better life I began my studies with EFT and am now an EFT Therapist; once you start down this path your thirst for knowledge increases as you seek more answers, awareness and enlightenment and as a natural progression I was sent information and purchased a meditation program called the Silva Method. In the program you learn many different techniques that when applied, can and do, manifest your desires, it can be used for many different applications, as simple as getting a car park or as serious as dealing with a chronic disease.

The Silva Method is easy to learn and very relaxing and as my study of the programs has progressed I have experienced more and more ‘coincidences’ in my life and my intuitive level has increased substantially. One of the techniques called the “Three Finger Technique” is used to ‘lock in’ your desired outcome and in situations when it is not possible to enter an Alpha State ie. in a public place etc. You can use it for anything you desire and is ‘as potent’ as going into a complete meditative state.

We had plenty of time to get ready for the wedding so while my wife was bathing I relaxed on the bed and entered Alpha State with the Silva three-to-one method and pictured the wedding being held in a garden on a bright sunny day, many months of preparation had gone into this day so I wanted it to be a special day for her and even though the weather was expected to get worse I saw it as I wanted it to be, not as it was. I then locked in this picture with the three finger technique, became wide awake and continued to get ready.

At 1pm we piled into the van, punched in our destination into the sat-nav and headed up the mountains. The journey up the mountain was uneventful other than the obvious increase in the strength of the wind as we climbed higher. The property is at the end of a suburban street and we were one of the first to arrive; it was still sunny but as we alighted from the car the first thing to hit you was sudden drop in temperature and with the wind chill added in it was very cold indeed.

None of us were appropriately dressed for this type of weather and I doubted if the bridal party would be either, even so, I applied the three finger technique again and visualized the wedding as I had done so previously without making any judgment on what may be the outcome. We hurried down the path and steps, through the beautiful gardens and across the lawn area where the wedding ceremony was to be held, the chairs were still stacked to the side as the wind was relentless and would have blown them over within seconds of being placed.

Being early we had time to tour the house, I wanted to walk the gardens but unfortunately that was out of the question still it was very interesting to see the unusual architecture with the bathrooms of special interest. One of the things that struck me was, even though the house was 80 years old it was in excellent condition, a tribute to the skill of the tradesman that built it.
I could see deep black clouds rolling into the valley and speeding towards us. I thought then that it looked very unlikely that the wedding will be held as I had visualized it but was convinced it would be still a special day for my niece no matter what the weather.

The guest began to filter in and there was much confusion as to where the wedding was to be held ‘inside or out?’ my sister was still coming up the mountain and phone calls were going to and fro until, with consultation with the house managers it was decided that it had to be held inside. No one was disappointed as we could not control the weather, it was going to be crowded but everyone wanted it to be a special day for the bride and groom and we would make the best of it.

Soon there was a flood of arrivals and the entrance hall and lounge was packed with guests, many of the young women were dressed for much warmer weather and obviously glad to be inside the house. The groomsman lined up facing the guests with their back to the window in the lounge and as the arrangements were now thrown into disarray there was more confusion as to how it would all go down, still everyone was in great spirits and there was much laughter we organized ourselves.

Word came from below that the bridal party had arrived. They were just in time as the storm I had seen rolling up the valley before now hit with vengeance, rain pelted down and was soon followed by hail, the wind grew even stronger and we were thankful that the bridal party had not been caught in it. I went back into the breakfast room and stealed one last look out the window. As I looked at the appalling weather I was not disappointed but still I wondered whether the Silva Method I had applied had or would have any effect, they were passing thoughts and I walked away not concerned but happy that ‘no matter what’ it would still be a special day for my niece.

Back with my family the ceremony was soon to begin and all of our attention went to the back of the room as the first of the three brides maids walked up the stairs. With a slight and deliberate delay my niece walked up the stairs and past the line of guests, she looked radiant! She took the central position in the wedding party with her back to the garden window and now the complete wedding party was turned towards the guests; all of our attention now went towards them and as we did so we were all shocked with what was happening behind them outside.

The first thing that struck you was the stillness that had filled the room, the wind had ceased to blow outside and an almost eerie quietness enveloped the house. We stood there dumbstruck with mouths open and smiles of wonder as snowflakes fell gently into the garden pond, the snow got heavier and drifted down as if lighter than air. I could see that my niece didn’t know what was happening; all she could see was the guests gaping in her direction with smiles of wonder and was bewildered as to what was going on. I called out to her “Turn around and look, it’s wonderful!”

She and the wedding party all turned around and looked out the window and for a few moments everyone in the room stared and was captured by this most magic of moments.  The beauty of the moment was itched into everyone’s soul forever by the gentle fall of the snowflakes highlighted by the dark brick terrace wall and the outside stillness that now enveloped us inside as well.

Cassandra and the wedding party turned back towards the celebrant and within moments the wind returned; the snowflakes were caught in its embrace and began swirling round and round within the courtyard and within seconds disappeared. The ceremony now began in earnest and with it the clouds disappeared as well, bright sunshine beamed down behind the window and raindrops caught in the petals and leaves glistened from the sun’s rays and a feeling of warmth filled the room.

The sunshine lasted until well after the ceremony and as we all gathered on the bottom lawn for a photograph I could see black clouds once again begin to roll into the valley. The wind never let up until late that night and played havoc with the marquee back at the reception. As I drove down the mountain after the wedding I was very emotional, as the others in the car chatted about what had happened and the explicit timing of the snow fall .

I felt very surreal about what had taken place. Tears welled in my eyes as the realization that I was part of a most extraordinary event sunk in. To this day it still affects me this way and I feel privileged to have been part of it. The wedding was not as I had visualized it but was in fact… better, and was a very special day as I and all the guests wanted it to be and a special day I will remember and use as a reference point for the rest of my life.

Epilogue

There are many that will dismiss what happened as a freak of nature or a coincidence but that is what miracles are. Miracles happen every day and are created by all of us as we go about our daily business; we just take them for granted as the natural course of things. If I hadn’t applied the Silva three finger technique I to would see this as just a lucky coincidence that turned the disheveled arrangements of a wedding into one to remember but the fact is I did use the technique and the outcome was amazing.

It is my belief that everyone at that wedding that wanted it to be a special day for Cassandra and Drew had contributed to the miracle that took place. This happened because of an expectation that no matter what the circumstances it will still be so, that it would be special, and so it was. I believe that I, through the Silva Method had unwittingly provided a channel for their and my intention and as Laura Silva Quesada of the Silva Method says many times throughout the program “when mediating for your desires expect what you want… or better!” And that is what we got.

An important point to note is, no one was disappointed that the wedding couldn’t be held as planned; everyone just got on with it and enjoyed the experience, and there was no moaning or groaning from anyone. When you let go of all negative emotions you allow the universe to go about its business without any obstructions, it just does its job and delivers what you ask for and that is the state you are in when in a meditative state. For 15 minutes or so you are free of any obstructions and fully open to receiving what it is you want and this is what makes the Silva Method such a wonderful tool. in moments you are in a state of being that is a direct path to your hearts desires and not only that it is locked in with the three finger technique, all you then have to do is allow it to manifest into your experience and it will be so.

PS:

In these challenging times you can use this story as a reference point in your life, when things are looking bleak and dark clouds are entering your life know that you have within the means to change the outcome and that outcome can and will be better than you expect. The universe delivers what you focus on and if you focus on prosperity, abundance and love, no matter what your current circumstances, and expect it to be so, that is what you will receive.

I wish you wellness and prosperity.

Don

Very touching and beautiful story! Thank you so much for sharing. Silva method has been a wonderful tool in my life as well. If you are not able to go to a Silva workshop, the CDs are just as great. For me the hands on training was fabulous. (My husband was pleasantly surprised, he only came with because I told him to). =)

    Love,

    Mary Madeline

    Don:

I read your amazing story and of course I believe that these types of miracles can happen using the Silva Ultra Mind Method. I think that Laura C. Silva is a god-sent and so was her dad, Mr. Jose Silva. I have benefitted from using the Alpha Level meditation and it helps me a lot.

Don, we have the power to do many wonderful things that the majority of us cannot comprehend. I believe that we are entering a period in this dispensation of time where we will have supernatural abilities to control many things in our lives including being able to control the elements such as the weather. We are about to reach a shift in time, where a lot of things about are about to change–for the better.

Continue on the wonderful journey that you are on because you shall reap many, many spiritual benefits. Many blessings.

It reminded me of our wedding. Carol, my wife, and I were married a little over 29 years ago on December 15th, 1979. It was a cold grey overcast day in Triliam State Park in the Gazebo. As we knelt for the blessing near the end of the ceremony, the clouds broke open in a place that sent a beam of sunlight on the Gazebo, the angle was perfect and came under the roof an lit us all up with a warm golden glow. Our minister at the reception, called it our wedding miracle. I experienced that wonder, joy and delight as I read your story. Thank you.
