The Meditation Marathon August 9th — 11th 5

Is any­one par­tic­i­pat­ing in the recent med­i­ta­tion marathon being held by the Dia­mond Way Bud­dhism asso­ci­a­tion? I was com­pletely over­joyed to find out that this very sig­nif­i­cant event is tak­ing place in over 470 cen­ters around the world, includ­ing Austin, Texas, my home town!

This med­i­ta­tion tra­di­tion is one of Dia­mond Way Buddhism’s prac­tices which orig­i­nated from the his­tor­i­cal Bud­dha, which began in India, and was first brought to Tibet in the 9th cen­tury. This year’s med­i­ta­tion marathon was orga­nized by Dia­mond Way Bud­dhist cen­ters around the world.

For three days, Bud­dhists from all over the world will take part in a med­i­ta­tion marathon to wish for ever­last­ing hap­pi­ness, health and wealth for all beings. It is even broad­casted on the inter­net through live stream­ing. I can’t help but revel in the wave of power field of pos­i­tive energy that res­onated through­out earth.

You know what I love about these events? They’re amaz­ing for strength­en­ing our minds, and mak­ing soci­ety bet­ter in the process! And it doesn’t even mat­ter if you are Bud­dhist or oth­er­wise, any­one can contribute.

Med­i­ta­tion is one of the most pow­er­ful tools to help us release neg­a­tive thoughts and energy, and instead, focus on peace and joy. It will help our bod­ies and minds real­ize that there are no restric­tions or boundaries.

So set your mind, spirit and body free and prac­tice your med­i­ta­tion, and soon you will see the trans­for­ma­tion to your new self and in no time at all, you will be able to move your per­sonal moun­tains and achieve all that you want in your life!

For what­ever rea­son I found myself actively includ­ing every­one I saw in the heal­ing energy bal­anc­ing that I am par­tic­i­pat­ing in for myself. It was very appar­ent in my thought on the 10th and 11th. I felt that it was because I was becom­ing more aware and of omni­cient Love but per­haps it was because of the Med­i­ta­tion Marathon that I knew noth­ing of consciously.

Thanks for this arti­cle. Last night I was being kept awake by a per­sis­tant drop of rain from a gut­ter — until I decided to med­i­tate on it. I think it helped.
