I first heard of the Silva Method in the late 60’s when I was in the USAF in north Texas. I bought the books, and was impressed with the story of Jose, his family, interests, research and success and knew this was something I needed to know more about.

I have always been interested in “human development” and have always had a strong desire to use all my hidden talents on a daily basis. Only Jose Silva’s methods gave me a practical technique for learning how.

It was years later, after I had moved to Seattle when I finally took a seminar and met Jose Silva. To this day I remember his warm energy and enthusiasm for all of us. I feel he cared for us all as he did his children… with that patient caring as he watched us realize our hidden talents and begin to use them to make our dreams come true.

Please know I feel Jose Silva has been a blessing to us all and I am so happy to have met him and learned from this wise man.

Sincerely and with gratitude,

Gary Cotterill

Thanks

I took the Silva method back in the early 70s. Later in the 1989 I went to Laredo Texas and took the Instructor Course. I lectured in S.C. in Charleston.

To this day in 2008, I still have conferences and “cottage” groups” active. Jose Silva, did leave this “world a better place to live in.” And it is my sincere wish that his memory live on in the hearts of millions, who the Silva Method reaches out to our world wide universes.

Thanks you, we all live better and better, Sincerely, Adrienne Sarmast Rogers. former instructor.Instructor, Reike Master, Clinical Therapy, and Energy Healer for over 20 years.

I recall reading about the Silva method when I was a young girl in the late 60s & I did the course several times in the 80s. It was and is a remarkable course, as Jose himself was a remarkable man. Often when i read or study other courses that came later it is blindingly obvious that Silva was the original (often unacknowledged) basis of most later systems. He was a rare and special man, and the world is richer for his presence and poorer for his passing. His message to the world was extrordinarily generous and unselfish. Carry on the good work Laura. He was a father anyone would be proud to have

That was a treat and I realise how much I’m yet to find out!
Thankyou!

Oh wow! Tears can be for joy too! For the 20years since I took my first Basic series, I programmed to ‘teach’ Silva! Well the something better has been teaching and ‘making a difference from Silva’! As I have previously written on the old blogs, the influences that the Silva Method(s) had on my life and all my other subsequent dealings is enormous. The Method taught me nothing.. more importantly it reminded me of what I already had. It gave me the gift of tools to use it.
As I would put Jose on my screen again (he really must have had a presence here in the southern hemisphere recently!) the answer was ‘to honour my purpose’.. from his influence. Thanks Jose :)
Burt, I have written to you before and you will know that I have your CDs and books (yes even the first one) and Laura, I met when I did the ‘Ultra’ in Adelaide. I still have my photo with Jose! And I fondly remember the stories you told of your father then. One of your brothers was there too. Very, very special hearing you both as my programming for Silva in the past few years was for ‘healing’ between the Global Home and The Ultra.
So Laura when that occurred, that was it.. that 20year goal just fell away and my ‘next’ is in the pipeline with the ‘readassist’.
So with my mentors in Jose, Burt, Ken Koscia, Fr Justin Belitz, John Newman, James Needham, Tom Mahas, Mary Chappell, Ultra Series, Nelda Sheets because in using Silva Method to teach myself to paint, is like coming full circle.
And, yes the Silva Method is in good hands, Laura! Thanks Burt, congratulations and Happy Birthday every day in every way to Jose and The Silva Worldwide Family
Nadia :)

I first heard of Jose Silva in the early 90s. A friend of mine told me that I might want to check this out since my life was starting to be very chaotic. She felt this would help me see what I was doing to create my problems. The tools have been a valuable asset in my life.

As an RN, I have the ability to help people in all walks of life: the physical, mental, spiritual and I always refer them to the Silva Method because this is a way for people to become empowered and take back their lifes. At some time in our life, we stand at the crossroads and the Silva Method is a way to empower us to meet our challenges.

I feel Jose Silva and all his instructors are great humanitarians and if we can get everyone in the world to take these courses then we can really change our world for the better.

Brightest Blessings,
Rebecca Kline

It is one of the greatest gifts that universe gave to my life

I first learned about Silva Mind Control through my dad. He took the class during the early seventies when I was in my mid-teens. He was very excited about it, and taught me how to go to level.

A group of graduates from his class went on to form their own group to continue what they had learned through the Silva method. I went along every week with him for the next two years (as did my mother and my grandmother).

Later, when I was in my mid-twenties I found a Silva class where I was living, and finally became an official Silva graduate myself. I kept it up for quite a while, but moved a lot and always seemed to wind up in places that did not offer the classes. I’m so glad that nowadays these are offered on CDs and via the internet.

I’ve always appreciated the simplicity of Jose’s methods–no fancy fluff, no religious undertones, just clean practical relaxation.

So thank you, Jose, wherever you are now–and thank you Laura for carrying on your father’s work.

I am a Silva Graduate since March 1991 from Bangladesh. Late Mahee Quazi, the then Country Director and CSMI, introduced Silva Method in Bangladesh in late 1990. I undertook BLS course in March 1991 under Mahee Quazi when he conducted the first BLS course officially in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I repeated BLS course at least 20-times. In March 1995 I undertook “The Silva 2-Day Ultra Seminar” conducted by Jose Silva, the great inventor and founder of Silva Method, in Dhaka. Jose Silva was assisted by Tony Silva (Jose’s son) and Mahee Quazi in the Seminar. During the seminar I met Jose Silva several times and got some tips from him on Silva Method. I repeated “The Silva 2-Day Ultra Seminar” in 1996 conducted by Alec Silva, nephew of Jose, in Dhaka. I am practising Silva Method for the last 17-years. I have conducted at least 50 caseworks successfully. I am a professional “Petroleum & Mining Consultant”. After retirement from Govt. service in February 2005, I joined a private company and presently leading an active professional life at the age of 61-years. I have been immensely benefitted in my professional life, social life, and financial life using Silva Techniques. By healing others I am serving the humanity. Silva techniques has now become my everyday life. I have listened to the interview of Laura Silva and Burt Goldman on the occassion of Jose’s birthday. I have enjoyed the interview and understand the memories of Laura and Burtman on Jose Silva. Jose Silva is a great man. The methods and techniques which he developed for a better world is simply unique and outstanding. We, about 23,000 Silva Graduates (so far produced) from Bangladesh, are enjoying fruits of it. Jose Silva should have been awarded “Nobel Prize” for developing Silva Mind Control Method. Because this is a unique method for a better world. I have got several photographs with Jose Silva which I have hanged in my living room. Lately I have undertaken home study course on “Silva Ultra Mind Syatem” and “Silva Life System” conducted by Laura Silva. Laura Silva is a great daughter of a great man. She is doing to keep her father’s brilliant legacy alive. Under the dynamic leadership of Laura Silva, the Silva Method will be further developed and it will be spreaded all over the world to make it a better world. Laura Silva is visiting Bangladesh from 23–25 October 2008 to conduct “Ultra Seminar” in Dhaka. I am going to attend that. I thank Jose Silva, Laura Silva and Silva Method to help me to lead a sccessful life. Thanks to all connected with this link.

Is Tom Mahas still involved with Silva? He made a wonderous relax tape. Mine gave up some time ago and I am lost without it.
If you know his contact details I would like to email him.

Regards,

Allan Power.
