Better and Better, Every Day...

The Silva Method Life gives breaking updates on the world of Silva, so you can start making the rest of your life, the best of your life.

Essential stuff for a better you, Every day!

The Law of Cause and Effect states that for every movement of energy such as in a natural happening, or a human thought that takes the form of an image, feeling, desire, belief, expectation or action there is a corresponding effect. For this reason the Law of Cause and Effect influences every aspect of your living experience. To determine why your living experience is of a certain quality or why something has come into your life, you simply need to discover what cause preceded the effect.

Which in turn means that every thing that happens in your life is connected to a cause, you can influence the cause and ensure that the effect is something that you desire.. everyday.

It would only a little thought and commitment to yourself to follow these six really simple steps, to a more fulfilling life.

So, What are the steps?

1. Pause

2. Take a deep breath

3. Say to yourself mentally “Relax — What’s my outcome”

4. Picture the desired outcome

5. Create an action plan

6. Begin to move in that direction

There is no cause (action) with pluses effect only. Every cause has both pluses and minuses. Every coin has both head and tail. It is like walking on a sword edge. Life is a battle field. All one needs to do is act whenever and whereever the effect is more positive and less negative. Thinking all the time to create a desired effect may make us inactive like running away from the battlefield– a cowardly approach. I admire your words of wisdom “The causes that lead to your personal living experience must be holistic in nature. Causes that lead to positive effects must contain elements of a healthy Spirit, Mind, Body and Emotions“It is true that there is no rush. We don’t have to speak out immediately nor do we have to act out immediately. It is often best to remain quiet in order to think of the best, most resourceful response, behavior or plan of action and act boldly. We have to be brave, bold and act responsibly and leave the result to providence.

    To put it simply,
    “Dont react — reflect“
Make this a mantra and it will become a reflex action, and save you ( and others ) from a great deal of pain and embarassment !

Wished I new about this as a youth. Never-the –less, I’ll live all over again adopting it . The fun is, some thoughts turn into reality in a jiffy and some don’t, even with positive emotions, one should guard.
Thanks Laura, I’ve learnt a lot from you.

    warm regards,

    shankar.

I love this! It says in precise and easy to understand terms why what happens to us “happens to us”. It is all of our own making. There is no blame to be allocated. This I will pass on to my family and friends I think it will be of great help to any who stop and think about why things happen. Also it may cause those who do not stop and think to “stop and think”.

I know when I say things, or even think things that will not result in the greatest good for the greatest number I will be more able to stop and think!

    Thank you Laura

I will be more able to stop, think and change.

    Laura, thank you again.

Thanks for the great post. You have put it in words that are easily understood. Sometimes we forget to take control over our thoughts. Thanks for the reminder.
