Your tribe has powerful influence on you. They provide the type of environment that determines how your future self would be.

Now, is your  current tribe supporting you the way you need to feel supported especially when it comes to the improvements you want in your life?

If they are, then you are fortunate to experience the good tribal effect of positive encouragements, optimism, support and great advice. This type of tribe will allow you to grow, inspire you, push you to achieve your fullest potential because they believe in you and be there for you whenever you need the extra support.

Unfortunately, many people are stuck in the negative tribal effect. This happens when their spouse or closest friends are not supportive or interested in the changes that are going on in their lives. Are you one of them? Are you stuck in a tribe that holds you back, unconsciously?

Are you one of those who once wanted to make a change or embrace a new habit like being healthier, starting meditation, or joining a spiritual course, only to be shot down by the people in your tribe?

Try this test on your tribe: Bring up the subject of meditation or spiritual enlightenment to your closest friends. Watch that they say.

Do they encourage you? Do they feign interest in the subject? Or do they tell you outright that you are wasting your time?

Share your results with us. Or share with us the struggles you have experienced with your current tribe.

I'm thinking about an autumn intake for Silva Master's Circle, and since you guys are currently going through this program, so no one's opinion is as valuable as yours.

So the big question:

How are you finding the program and what new ideas can we add to make this even better for you and the next intake of students?

For example:

• Tell me, what would you change, enhance or add ?

• Are the weekend exercises valuable to you?

• How do you like the discussions and communities?
• Did it help you improve your meditation,healing,and intuitive abilities?

Are We Hard-Wired To Suffer?

Yesterday I had one of those classic moments with a client that never fail to bring the conversation to a stand still. He was sharing with me his tendency to, as he put it, "always feel anxious and worried about everything." At one point, with a shrug, he simply declared, "I'm just hard-wired to be anxious. I've always been this way."

Really? Hard-wired to be anxious, worried and stressed-out? Not.

Have you looked at a baby lately? Or hung out with small children who are living in a secure home with at least one loving parent? In general, well-fed kids (poverty is another thing entirely) are relaxed, spontaneous, playful and full of life a good deal of the time. Since when did it become in vogue to blame our adult anxieties on so-called "hard-wiring?" What does "hard-wiring" mean anyway?

Possibly its not just talent, but maybe they have some sort of luck, were in the right place at the right time, or maybe they belong to the 'chosen few'? People can't help which family trust fund they were born into.

But here's where it gets confusing.

Oprah has the same amount of time in a day you do, Bill has the exact same amount of brain matter you do, and your heart is just as big as Mother Theresa's.

Putting Bill, Oprah and Theresa aside, what about those everyday people who just seem to make things happen - magically? The people who can eat whatever they want and never gain weight?  What about your neighbor Ted, who makes your annual income in 4 months without any sort of college education? Your sister-in-law's children who seem to grow happier, healthier and smarter everyday - all while being extremely well behaved? What are their secrets?

Maybe there is a  big misconception about 'Superheros' and 'super powers', and I'm talking about powers like cunning wit, flowing charisma, or innate creativity as opposed to flying or invisibility.

Were only a select people were blessed with these powers at birth - just like we read in comics and see in the movies? Or is there something else at play here?

The Secret Visitor technique, for changing your mood INSTANTLY.

This technique was actually invented by the daughter of a Silva instructor.

She was having nightmares, and was crying out loud after she’d woken up.  Her mother went into the room to see her, and the daughter was sitting on the bed and smiling. She explained to her mother that she had a nightmare, and was scared, so she closed her eyes and imagined taking the scared brain out of her head, and replacing it with a happy brain.

Her mother remembered this process some time later when she was having a very sad day.  So she invited into her laboratory the HAPPIEST person on earth.

When the elevator door in her lab opened, there was a happy-looking guy standing there. (The happiest person on the planet!) So she invited him into her lab, imagined putting on his head over hers and noticed how THIS ALONE made a big shift in her awareness and her mood.

So how can YOU use this?

If you want to be happier, then you could do the above.  If you wanted to better understand something, you could also invite to your lab the person on earth who KNOWS the most about a particular subject, and then put on THAT person’s head.

If you wanted to attract more clients, you could invite someone who is the world’s leading expert at attracting clients easily, and put on THAT person’s head.

If you wanted to make better decisions about money, you could invite the BEST money decision-maker in the world and put on THAT person’s head.

Two applications…
For any INFORMATION or INSIGHT you want, there is someone on earth whose genius will help. Invite them to your lab and step into their shoes so you can see things THEIR way.

For any MOOD you would like to have, or any emotion you would like to feel, there is someone on earth who is a master of generating that feeling. Invite them to your lab and step into their shoes so you can FEEL things THEIR way.
