I have an incident - not nearly as dramatic as Helene's. This one involves a minor healing of myself. Many years ago one of our pet dogs who was a puppy at the time jumped onto the couch where I was sitting and as she started to slide her claws sank into my knee. I had a jagged deep cut from this wound on my knee. I began to visualize the wound closing and healing after I had cleaned it well. I literally saw the cut on my knee closing up and within a period of about 45 minutes I had closed the wound with no soreness nor infection - although I do have a thin scar today. Incredible story! For instance scare a Bear away with a projected bigger bear, or lion, or scare an armed burglar away with two or three large projected police men. I also needed to focus to the point where I was unaware of my surroundings, of sounds, sights, etc. I was punished so severely for doing this that it has been a challenge to allow myself to focus to that degree since then, but I am still working on it!
