Don’t Be One Of the 100 Million Overweight People In The World 9

lost-weightI hear this from many peo­ple, “I’ve been eat­ing less but why am I not los­ing weight?” And my answer is always the same. It’s not just about what you eat. Try­ing to lose weight by chang­ing your diet only can help but often it can be harm­ful or have no effect on your body.

The first ques­tion shouldn’t be “how can I lose weight?” but rather, “what is it that causes me to be overweight?”

In order to lose weight and keep it off in a healthy man­ner you need to have a deep under­stand­ing of what it truly takes to be healthy from a holis­tic point of view. You first need to take these things into account:

  • your genet­ics — Study your fam­ily. While your genet­ics do not dic­tate how you will look, you will get a bet­ter under­stand­ing of what weak­nesses you have when it comes to weight gain.
  • any con­di­tions you may have — Some peo­ple may have hypothy­roidism or Cushing’s Syndrome.
  • your trig­gers — what trig­gers your desire to eat and how can you con­trol it
  • your atti­tude — what is your atti­tude to your health and how is it affect­ing your actions

Once you under­stand your health fac­tors and atti­tude, you can begin to reshape your behav­ior. Your behav­ioral mod­i­fi­ca­tions are what will bring you to a sta­ble weight loss.

Food and weight can be pos­i­tive ele­ments in your life. They do not have to be a strain on your life. Your weight loss pro­gram should be pleas­ant as it is ben­e­fi­cial. If you feel some­thing is wrong, your body is try­ing to tell you that some­thing isn’t work­ing. Remem­ber, the body is not a machine. So be gen­tle to it.

This is the first track of a micro course focused on holis­tic weight loss with­out drugs and pain. Even if you feel your weight and health are per­fect, I want you to lis­ten to it. The knowl­edge you can pass on can help those you know who are suf­fer­ing from their weight prob­lems and in a world where obe­sity is on the climb, we all need to edu­cate our­selves on our health and weight.

This track will teach you how to lose weight by under­stand­ing these ele­ments:

  • phys­i­o­log­i­cal factors
  • behav­ioral influences
  • psy­cho­log­i­cal influences
  • the 4 parts of your health: phys­i­cal, men­tal, spir­i­tual and emotional
  • how to strate­gize your med­i­ta­tion to inter­nal­ize and boost weight loss

I enjoyed this com­pre­hen­sive descrip­tion of the prob­lem and solu­tion. I can­not afford the pro­gram yet, but am study­ing the Silva Mind Con­trol Method from the book of that title. I am fol­low­ing your free offer­ings as well. I will com­mit time and money to ini­taily buy your down­load pro­gram andf then will attend sem­i­nars inthe future. I believe in this work and wish that I could have been instructed in it in my youth.

I have one question?

Do you believe I can reduce my weight sig­nif­i­cantly while in recov­ery from Hashimotto’s Thyroiditis?

I have pro­gres­sively been increas­ing my weight even if my anti­bod­ies have been reduc­ing — thank God.

I would be extremly grate­ful if you could answer my question?

Dear Teresa,

Yes, I do believe that you can reduce your weight even if you have Hashimotto’s Thy­roidi­tis. This con­di­tion is an autoim­mune dis­ease. It is impor­tant to use the Silva imagery tech­niques such as the Mir­ror of the Mind and imag­ine the present/problem sit­u­a­tion in the blue framed mir­ror and study it in detail. Include the symp­toms of the dis­ease in the image. Then as you move the mir­ror to the left, erase the prob­lem image, change the color of the frame to white and cre­ate an image of the desired out­come – weight and over­all health. From that time for­ward focus on only the out­come – framed in white — until you reach mea­sur­able results at which point you can imag­ine your new present sit­u­a­tion in the blue frame.

Make sure the image of the out­come is believ­able. In other words, if the desired weight loss is 50 lbs and you have a hard time imag­in­ing your­self 50 lbs lighter, then imag­ing your­self 5 lbs lighter and adjust your pro­gram­ming incre­men­tally. Every time you reach your 5 lb goal imag­ine a new blue frame with the reduced weight and then a new white frame with the new goal of another 5 lbs lighter.

Be sure your nutri­tional and caloric intake sup­ports healthy weight loss. Oth­er­wise you are set­ting your­self up for fail­ure. Also include exer­cise into your daily rou­tine even if it’s a 10 – 15 minute walk daily. In addi­tion, be con­scious of the beliefs you hold that may be allow­ing the dis­ease and added weight to exist. A belief is a state­ment you make to your­self about some­thing you hold to be true and it gov­erns your liv­ing expe­ri­ence. Write those state­ments on a piece of paper and mod­ify them to state more of what you desire to man­i­fest into your life.

For exam­ple: “Hashimotto’s Thy­roidi­tis tends to run in my fam­ily and now I have it too.” Change that state­ment to “I am going to live a healthy life with a healthy func­tion­ing immune sys­tem.” Or “Peo­ple with Hashimotto’s Thy­roidi­tis gain weight.” Mod­ify the state­ment to “I will achieve the ideal weight for max­i­mum health.”

Check your ingre­di­ent for suc­cess­ful man­i­fes­ta­tion:
How much do you DESIRE to reduce the weight?
Do you BELIEVE that you can achieve the desired out­come?
Do you EXPECT the out­come to man­i­fest?
Make sure what you VISUALIZE accu­rately depicts real­ity.
Make sure that what you IMAGINE does not limit the direc­tion from where you get your out­come.
Make sure your ACTIONS con­gru­ently sup­port what you desire to man­i­fest.
Make adjust­ments to your pro­gram­ming, thoughts, beliefs and behav­iors accord­ing to the FEEDBACK you receive.
