Scientific Evidence Proves Psychic Healing 1

Do you know that the Silva Method has been studied and researched in about 8 universities across the country such as Trinity University, Duke University and the University of Texas?

Not only that, it’s also been covered by numerous major dailies such as the Washington Post and The New York Times.

Here’s an article that’s written by a news journalist, James Crenshaw that was published in FATE Magazine.  Here, he talks about the various experiments which he personally observed with a few professors on psychic healing. The methods used, as well as the results are truly interesting and mind-blowing.

I know that there are those of you out there who doubt your own abilities of healing, which means you doubt the power of your mind. So I recommend that you read this report  to erase any hesitations you may have which will hinder your ability to heal.

Is Your Life Working For You? Start Taking Control Of Your Reality 0

As Silva students, you already know that thoughts lead to actions which lead to reality. In short, your thoughts are your reality.
mountain_climbing
We’re very fortunate to have discovered this truth and be presented with a golden opportunity to take control of our reality. Arna Burg is a classic case of a person who turned her life around the minute she discovered the Silva Method.

Arna is now a Silva instructor and a successful business owner. I’ve posted her story below for your reading pleasure and as a source of inspiration.

Change Your Thinking — Change Your Life

Want to sleep better, change unwanted habits, improve your business and have the life of your dreams? Then think about it! The power of your thoughts can change your life.

You may have heard that you can achieve anything you set your mind to – but is it really that simple? Yes, it is scientifically proven! Best selling authors call it “The Secret” or the “Law of Attraction.” Jose Silva has perfected the techniques and The Silva Method Workshop now teaches you how to put these powerful tools into practice. If you want to not only know more, but create more with your thoughts, you can experience the power of your own mind by attending this Silva Method workshop presented by Arna Berg who claims she owes much of her abundant success in life to The Silva Method.

Learn to improve your life

After years of working for someone else, Arna explained that circumstances led her to start a little business in Simpson Bay Yacht Club and she opened the doors of The Business Centre. In the beginning it didn’t go very well, every day she wondered how to attract clients, whether the business could pay her a salary and if the business would even survive to the end of the first year. In 1992 her friend Malcolm Maidwell read a book about the Silva Method and he persuaded Arna and a small group of friends from St. Maarten to fly to New York and take this four-day workshop. The things she learned there dramatically changed her life.

Meditation Vs. Medication — Your Path To Happiness? 1

Hi friends,

Last week, we talked about 5 simple ways to be happy.

As Silva students, we’re fortunate enough to have tips and techniques that can naturally help us achieve happiness. This of course, include meditation, which is the key ingredient used in all of Silva Method’s exercises.

89979867

Meditation helps us to relax our mind and body while giving us physical as well as inner peace. It heals stress, anxiety as well as depression.

We already know that engaging in activities that relieve you from stress, anxiety and depression, such as meditation, can reduce the negative energies in our system leading to happiness.

Unfortunately, there are still so many out there who have yet to experience its wondrous benefits.

So, in their quest to achieve happiness, they try various methods that may include medication, drugs and other adrenaline-rushing activities which just aren’t healthy in the long run.

For this reason alone, I am very happy to see that meditation is being recognized more and more in the medical world for its natural and permanent benefits.

Here’s an article written by Janis Whitlock (MPH, PhD), which talks about the increasing number of those addicted to unnatural methods in their quest to find happiness, but with less than positive results.

According to Janis, with the quest for happiness, as it is socially and culturally defined in most western nations, comes heightened risk for addictions of all sorts — particularly for youth.

The article elaborated on the science of addiction, which reveals that when someone struggles with substance abuse or process addictions present in our culture such as food, sex, gambling, self-harming behaviors, or even excessive Internet usage or workaholism, the pay-off is the same: increased levels of “feel good” chemicals.

All of these behaviors increase levels of “happiness” chemicals such as dopamine, serotonin, endogenous opiods, and norepinephrine — at least for a short while.

Meditation, meanwhile, provides the much sought-after positive and permanent qualities that so many are searching for:

  • Increased understanding of the neurology of contentment suggests that practices such as meditation and contemplation may hold the key to real and lasting happiness
  • Studies of long-term meditators by researchers such as Richard Davidson from the UW-Madison Laboratory for Affective Neuroscience show that meditation is linked to significant activity in the left prefrontal cortex — areas of the brain linked to positive emotion
  • Studies of the effect of meditation on mental health typically show meditation linked to significantly less trait anxiety and negative affect, enhanced levels of circulating antibodies and the high-frequency gamma waves associated with higher mental activity
  • Similarly, as reviewed in Stefan Klein’s book, The Science of Happiness, long-term compassion-focused meditation has been linked to the most intense left-sided, happiness-related brain activity ever recorded
  • These studies have shown that the effects of meditation are believed to be permanent

You can read the rest of the article here, and see for yourself how even the medical world is now recognizing the wonderful benefits of meditation.

Better and Better,

Laura

Have You Started On Your “Life’s Big List” Yet? 87

And so we are back, ladies and gentlemen, just in time for Thanksgiving (like I said we will!) :D

Okay, for those of you who just got here and have no clue what’s happening, this is a continuation of an exercise I started last week.

See I was talking about how  we all have a list of things that we keep telling ourselves we’ll do, things that we know would improve us, make us better persons… yet we keep putting them off!

So I asked everyone to list down their 3 things in their “Life’s Big List” and then I gave everyone one week to get the ball rolling to accomplish these things! Those who actually do something about it will get a Silva reward!

Of course to be fair, I need to participate too… So here are my 3 things which I posted up last week:

  1. Start writing my novel
  2. Take guitar lessons
  3. Read at least one book a week

Well, what do you know, I managed to get it started!

In the past week alone, I have:

  1. Organized, collated and re-edited my drafts, and even started talking to a few editors to see if I could find one to help me out!
  2. I have signed up for guitar lessons :)
  3. I finished reading The Culture Code by Clotaire Rapaille and next I will be reading Paradise Lost by John Milton

I am feeling SO accomplished right now and so excited!

And now I want to see what you have done and share it with me. Leave your accomplishments in the comment box below and tell me exactly what you did to start getting closer to your goals.

OH! Please don’t forget to leave your email addresses too… This is very important because I will be emailing you the details of the prize that you’ll be getting from Silva for participating in this exercise!

Cheers,
Jill

PS: Well, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and start typing, I just can’t wait to see what you have gotten so far :D

The 4 Stages Of Mind 13

Did you know that there are 4 different stages to the mind? Did you also know how important it is for you to enter and remain the fourth stage at will?

By spending a few minutes watching this, you’re going to understand the importance of  mindset and how it’s going to affect your ‘flow’.

This will, in turn, help you boost your income by affecting your 4 different states of mind:

It’s so inspiring to see this former Silva Graduate tell his story on how he used the Silva Method in his day-to-day life as well as to build a highly successful business.

I strongly suggest you take his tips and techniques into your strategy to lock in wealth and success. Such a rare nugget of wisdom may be rare to come by but when it does, it only makes sense for you to take full advantage and apply it to your life!

Remember: Knowledge, however attained, when applied will prevent suffering and lead to greater success.

Better and Better,

Laura

Learning How To Walk Again — Using The Power Of Positive Thinking 1

I have a special something for all of you, and it comes to you in the form of an astounding man who goes by the name of Bill.

Bill was hit with a series of life challenges, one after the other, but he never once gave up. He broke his back and was told by his doctors that he would never, ever, walk again. On  top of everything else, his wife left him for being a paraplegic but Bill proved, once and for all that he could overcome anything.

His story left me with a warm feeling of gratitude, humility and pride for his achievements as well as the work of my father, Jose Silva.

I really must share Bill’s story with you so listen here to find out the rest of his story and see for yourself how far he has gone since.

I guarantee you that you will be amazed and inspired.bill

Listen to Bill’s story, it brought tears to my eyes:

The 5 Most Common Misconceptions About Meditation 3

iStock_000005940786Medium

It goes without saying that meditation is one of the most powerful tools that if used properly, can help us achieve wealth, health and happiness. It helps us release negative thoughts and energy and instead, focus on joy and positivity.

It is one of the most important ingredients to a more potent Silva living.

But I have been noticing some general misunderstandings about meditation that I really feel I should address.

Here is a list of the top 5:

1. Stop Thinking

This is harder than it sounds I know.

It is only natural, but contrary to popular beliefs, meditation is not only about completely stopping your thoughts or completely blanking your mind.

During meditation, when you feel you mind begin to wander, it natural, just stop and bring it back to the present and your meditation.

A good technique is to ask yourself “I wonder what my next thought will be?”. Go ahead and do it. Did you notice a pause in your thoughts?

2. Meditate to Escape

This cannot be a more wrong belief.  It is with meditation that we come face-to-face with our most innermost fears, pain and most selfish of desires.

When we can sit with and accept these unwelcome parts of ourselves we begin to disempower them. This simple act of allowing and accepting has deep significance in the process of healing and liberation.

3. You Have To Sit In The Full Lotus Position

Contrary to popular beliefs, you do not have to sit on the floor in a full lotus position to meditate. The most important thing is that you are a hundred percent comfortable, and in a comfortable environment which will not distract your meditation process.

As long as you are relaxed, focus, and you keep your spine straight, your meditation session should be a wonderful and rewarding experience.

4. Meditation Is Deep Relaxation

While meditation is very helpful in managing stress and helping us overcome illnesses and obtaining the perfect health, its not right to reduce it to just “deep relaxation”. To be fair, being relaxed is only one part of successful meditation, while the other half is keeping the mind alert.

I know this sounds confusing, but this is the tricky part of meditation, which you can overcome over time and with constant practice and guidance from your Silva audio home study course.

5. Just Follow The CD

While the Silva Method provides you with a step-by-step guide on how to achieve all of your desires easily through a number of programs which we present to you in the form of CDs, you and I both know that we cannot just plug it in and leave it to do all the work.

The life that you desire is filled with success, healing and freedom and it can be achieved through a few additional techniques and tools which will compliment your existing programs, such as lessons and other tips that I give out here in this blog.

Also don’t forget to practice your meditation and make a habit of doing it at least once a day, to accelerate your potential and help you achieve your desires.

Better and better,

Laura

PS: Did these tips help you out with your meditation? Do let me know, I would love to hear from you.
