Do you know who Ruth Nicole Castillo is? Well, she’s a 16 year old girl from Honduras who started studying the Silva Method in Arizona when she was only 9 years old!
Now, she’s an honor roll student and MOST excitingly, she just won First Place in a top rated jumping competition, sponsored by the International Equestrian Federation, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
We -love- hearing stories like this. And from all of us at Silva International, we would like express our heartfelt congratulations to her win!

Hi Ruth, do you speak English? I would love to talk to you over Email. I have been horse riding on and off all of my life and now i have 2 of my own horses I would love to know what kind of things you did with silva to attain such a tremendous goal! You are an inspiration to me. I’ve always known I could do something similar if I wanted, anything is possible as they say, but i’d love to hear some of your thoughts about what to do with horses to acheive what you did. I often talk to my horses in alpha the night b4 i need them to do something, and i certainly talk to them visually and thru my feelings throughout the day. I’ve only just begun this and would love to share some ideas.
